Remember Tom Hurndall
Tom Hurndall was a brave man who deserves to be remembered. He was shot in the head in Rafah, Palestine by an Israeli Defence Force sniper while trying to save children in the line of fire. He eventually died nine months later on January 13, 2004.
He put his life on the line for civilians in Iraq before that and did more for my own people than many ‘armchair generals’. We should all ponder over how much we each do to stand up to injustice.
His Middle East journals are about to be published by Trolley Books.

About:

A blog for my thinking and perspective on events from an Islamic Angle. It's all quick thoughts, original content, sharp reminders or links to really interesting stuff.

It's how I view the world from East London. Sometimes I post on a topical issue that can be seen from many angles when only one will really do. Comments welcome!
